I loved Amalgam Comics, the DC / Marvel "mash-ups" from the 1990's! Fun stuff! I decided to come up with some Amalgam 2009 characters... the first few I've done are DC / Marvel, tho I will stray outside that box for future ones... (Wanna play along? Feel free!)
